navigating the world a little each time

Huge Wanderlust, Limited Budget?
It is still affordable with post pandemic inflation. Yes, it is still possible to travel in 2026 for just USD50 on average a day (excluding airfares, accommodation and shopping). With focus, discipline and conscious choices to prioritize the absolutely necessary, one can see places, in the most economical sense, so that we can all continue navigating the world a little each time. I have also put myself through those detours, so you may choose to bypass them.
I have been to more than 70 countries now, and look forward to adding more! However, it is not just the number of countries but how much of the country that one has seen and experienced. Some smaller countries will warrant a day trip, but it will be lacking to spend one day in many larger ones. That said, there are only so many vacation days we have in our lifetime so we have got to prioritize!

Navigating the world a little each time
There are only so many leave days one is granted from work and paid employment, so here’s what I do. I plan my leave months in advance, then see where I haven’t been to, followed by plans to reserve the most economical airfares, before securing accommodation early. There is no AI involved. These are all real experiences. Read more about at The Navigator
